What do you need to enter the Maldives?

For all arriving and departing travellers, a PCR test result is not mandatory. Additionally, this also applies to unvaccinated travellers.

  • All passengers arriving to AND departing from the Maldives are required to complete the Traveler Health Declaration form within 96 hours of the flight time https://imuga.immigration.gov.mv/ethd

  • All passengers need to also complete an Immigration Arrival Card when arriving in the Maldives

  • If you are transiting, please continue to check the guidance on your airline's website

  • You will be granted a 30 day visa upon arrival and your passport must be valid for a minimum of one month. However, if arriving by air, most airlines state that your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into the Maldives. Check with your airline or tour operator before travelling. You should ensure your passport has no damage or you may be stopped by Immigration, who examine passports carefully

  • Have adequate Travel Insurance and we recommend that printed copies of all appropriate documents are taken on holiday with you
